This summer, the Mitchell Arts Centre (MAC) brought an unforgettable experience to young people through its production of MAC TO THE FUTURE as part of the HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme.
Over six weeks, talented youngsters came together to create something truly special. Making the most of their school break with the final days rehearsing a performance that was nothing short of fabulous.
From Rehearsal to Show in Just 5 Days
The young cast managed to perfect the entire production with just five days of rehearsals.
With the guidance of experienced mentors from MAC, the young people worked hard to perfect their dance routines and stage presence, demonstrating their dedication and talent.
The Joy of Performing
Feedback from parents has highlighted just how much the young performers enjoyed the MAC TO THE FUTURE experience. From rehearsals to the final show, their energy and excitement was ecstatic! Beyond performance skills, the cast managed to build confidence and many friendships were made during the summer time.

The Power of the HAF Programme
MAC TO THE FUTURE was just one of the many positive results of the HAF programme, which aims to provide young people with enriching activities during the school holidays. This initiative, which is on-going through Spring, Summer and Winter holidays, gives local children a safe and creative space to explore their talents, enjoy nutritious meals and engage in positive social interaction.
