Our Aim

What we work to achieve

We're proud to work in the Stoke-on-Trent community to positively affect social change.

Empowering young children

The Hubb Foundation, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is a charity focused on providing holiday activities for vulnerable children. Our work spans from community projects like our slow-cooker initiative to facilitating smooth transitions between educational stages with Opportunity Area funding.

Support

A key aspect of the Hubb Foundation’s mission statement is ‘developing physical, mental and emotional wellbeing while positively affecting social change’. In practice, the holistic approach described for confronting real and longstanding issues for disadvantaged children ensures that each child can tackle their academic-based term-time with the support mechanism of a fulfilling and supportive school holiday period.

Academic Success

Since 2018, through offering complimentary meals and engaging activities to all participants in our holiday programs, we've laid the groundwork for thousands of children to maximize their academic potential. This, in turn, prepares them for a brighter future ahead.

What an amazing project! My grandsons attended nearly all the sessions run throughout the 6 weeks holidays at St Peters Academy, they had so much fun and I enjoyed it as trying to provide activities in the summer holidays is expensive . All the people worked so hard and were patient and positive! They particularly enjoyed the football with @pvfcfoundation. Thanks so much as we look to more activities!
