The Hubb Pot project is a significant targeted initiative that provides a slow cooker and 6 week’s worth of food vouchers to disadvantaged families identified by our partner schools and community groups. The project supports and enables families to create healthy meals whilst gaining cookery skills along the way through online video lessons, recipe books and teaching sessions.
The project has received huge praise and recognition, supporting over 2,000 families since it started in 2021. The demand and momentum continues – it has expanded to include air-fryers as well as slow cookers – the challenge of resource and funding continues.
Funded by: The National Lottery, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Dept. For Work and Pensions, Household Support Fund.
