Three Stoke community organisations equipped with laptops as part of Hubb partnership

The Hubb Foundation have partnered with Fifteen Group and Acacia Training to provide three organisations with a brand-new laptop, which will assist them in delivering valuable skills to their members.

Fegg Hayes Futures, Project Indi and Middleport Matters, recipients of the new equipment, carry out essential work in the county to help local communities.

The recipients

Fegg Hayes Futures are the founders of The Hub @ ST6, based in North Stoke-on-Trent. A resource for the community, the venue hosts activities that local people want to see, helping to facilitate learning, self-discovery, enjoyment and mutual support. They host a range of weekly activities, such as Ju-Jitsu, dance sessions, parent and toddler groups and sensory play sessions for toddlers, as well as workshops such as art projects.

Project Indi works to champion inclusion and celebrate diversity, helping vulnerable and disabled adults, children and families to reach their full potential. The team achieve this essential work by hosting day opportunities and community social groups, offering inclusive work placement and volunteering opportunities and delivering SEND sessions for children and young people.

They do this by provisioning a range of services, from activities to reduce social isolation to hosting clean-up and environmental projects.

Our partnership

Fifteen Group, an award-winning telecommunication, IT and technology company, and Acacia Training, a GOOD Ofsted rated education provider who specialise in the health and wellbeing sector, were essential in helping us deliver the laptops to these community organisations, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support.

Acacia Training will provide training and development for each charity utilising the laptops, further helping users get the most out of their new technology. Acacia Training have several training courses available which are free to anyone who is 19+, unemployed or earning below £20,319 a year.

Adam Yates, Chief Operating Officer at Hubb Foundation, said: “providing laptops to these local organisations will allow them to do even more incredible work within the community, helping their members for years to come. We’d like to thank Fifteen Group and Acacia Training for their partnership on this project.”
