At The Hubb Foundation, we are continually inspired by the incredible organisations and individuals who choose to stand with us in supporting vulnerable children and families across Stoke-on-Trent. And one of those longstanding partners is Rebus Training, whose commitment to community action has made a real difference year after year.
A Partnership Rooted in Compassion
Rebus has supported The Hubb Foundation for several years through Christmas appeals, summer holiday food bank collections, charity raffles, the recent Potters ‘Arf Marathon and more. We’ve also had the pleasure of joining their annual awards evenings, where Carol Shanahan OBE, Founder and Patron, and Adam Yates, Chief Operating Officer, have spoken about the challenges facing families in our city and the difference community partnerships can make.
With the festive season fast approaching, Rebus Training are continuing their brilliant support for our work by launching their much loved annual Christmas collection. Their appeal has helped brighten Christmas for many families in past years, and we’re delighted to see it return once again…
Rebus Training Launches Their Christmas Appeal 2025
As Christmas draws near, Rebus Training have recently launched their festive donation drive. This appeal has become a much loved tradition within their organisation, and its impact can be felt across Stoke-on-Trent.
For many families, the festive season can bring added pressures and worries, especially during difficult times. But with support from initiatives like this appeal, Christmas can still offer moments of comfort and a little bit of magic for those who need it most.
This year’s appeal is gathering:
🍫 Selection boxes
🍬 Christmas chocolates
🧸 Toys and gifts
🍭 Festive sweets and treats
Even the smallest gift can help create a brighter, more hopeful Christmas for children and families across our community.
Charged Up and Ready to Give
Last year, Rebus Training truly set their sights high and with plenty of electrifying puns to match their status as Stoke-on-Trent’s leading electrical training centre, they launched their 2024 Christmas Chocolate Appeal with real spark. Their rallying cry to “AMP things up” captured the fun and energy behind the campaign, as their aim was to build a tower of chocolate selection boxes reaching “electrifying new heights,” even taller than their own workshop scaffold tower.

Christmas Appeal 2024 – Fundraiser, Rebus Training
Apprentices, staff, employers, colleagues, and friends all joined in, donating chocolate treats, toys, and games to help brighten Christmas for families in need. Their efforts resulted in an incredible collection of over 100 chocolate selection boxes, along with a generous range of gifts ready to bring smiles to local children. We were delighted when Tana and Adam from The Hubb Foundation visited Rebus to collect the donations – each contribution making a difference across Stoke-on-Trent.
The teams enthusiasm, creativity, and community spirit made last year’s appeal a shining success, and we’re excited to see what this year’s collection will achieve.
