Summer HAF 2025 is Here! Let the Fun Begin…

The summer holidays are here and that can only mean one thing… HAF is back!

In partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and funded by the Department for Education, The Hubb Foundation is bringing together local providers to deliver the HAF programme for another summer. Open to children aged 5 to 16 (including 4 year-olds in reception) who are eligible for benefits related free school meals, this summer is set to be filled with exciting activities, delicious food, and opportunities to make lasting friendships.

Bookings have already been open for a few weeks, and the countdown is officially on for the school holidays to start.

We are proud to be working with a brilliant network of local partners and providers to bring you the Summer HAF 2025 programme. This summer sees a mix of sports camps, outdoor games, arts and crafts, creative sessions, cooking and nutrition lessons, drama, music, dance, enrichment activities, and exciting trips, so whether your child loves sports, games, creativity, or trying something new – there’s something for everyone and there’s still time to sign up and secure your child’s space.

Stoke City Community Trust, Bullseye & Break – On Target for a Great Summer!

Here’s a unique HAF experience for young people with the Stoke City Community Trust. Their “Bullseye & Break” holiday camp is something special combining fun, focus, and skill development in a totally new way.

🎯 Venue: Longton Snooker & Pool

🎯 Activities: Pool and darts in state-of-the-art facilities

🎯 Focus: Fun, friendly matches, skill building, competitions

🎯 Bonus: Sessions includes a free tasty lunch for every child

With exclusive access to part of the venue and expert led sessions, this is your child’s chance to learn a new skill in a relaxed and inclusive setting.

Hanley Hustlers Basketball Camps – Join the Hustle…

Back for another Summer HAF, Hanley Hustlers Basketball Camps are the perfect introduction to this fast paced sport, offering beginner friendly sessions for boys and girls aged 6 -10 and 11-15 years.

Running throughout the summer at two venues across Stoke-on-Trent, each four hour camp is packed with fun and engaging basketball activities. Whether your child is brand new to the game or just looking to build confidence, their qualified and experienced coaching staff will guide them through:

🏀 Skills and drills designed specifically for beginners

🏀 Fun games and friendly competitions to keep things exciting

🏀 All players will be fuelled and refreshed with drinks and a free lunch.

These camps are all about learning, teamwork, and having a great time on the court with no experience needed!

Ten Count Boxing – Kick starting the weekends…

Friday nights are when Ten Count take over Abbey Hulton with an exciting mix of activities for children and young people (6-16 years). It isn’t just about boxing; it’s about creating a welcoming space where young people can have fun, stay active, and connect with friends in a safe and supportive environment. From sports to creativity, there’s something for all young people to enjoy.

Young people can expect a buzzing atmosphere packed with energy, laughter, and opportunities to try something new:

🥊Girl Dance, Gym Use, Boxing & Football – fun and fitness for all interests

🥊Crafts, Games & Activities – plenty of ways to be creative and social

🥊Free hot meal provided.

And with a recently expanded space to include a soft play area, sensory room, and a versatile activity room, this is proving a perfect space for younger attendees and those looking for something a little different.

SPLAT into Summer Fun – Social Physical Learning Activities Together

Whether your child loves getting messy with slime, painting up a masterpiece, or running around with new friends, SPLAT is the perfect place to be this summer!

Aimed at children aged 5 to 12 years old, sessions offer a colourful mix of creative play, crafts, slime making, baking, games and sports, giving children a chance to learn, play and have fun in a safe, inclusive space – with a free healthy meal and drink for every child attending.

Giving families lots of local options to get involved, SPLAT sessions will be popping up at venues in:
