Hubb Foundation calls on businesses to become community champions, the Daily Focus reports

The Hubb Foundation is calling on businesses across Stoke-on-Trent to see how they can help after supporting thousands of children and families – on the run up to the millionth meal milestone.

Nigel Pye for the Daily Focus spoke to Adam Yates, Chief Operating Officer, who said: “We are so grateful to all the companies and organisations who have supported us so far as we reach the millionth meal mark. But the fact we have reached this milestone in less than six years only goes to show the size of the problem we face.

I believe we have only seen the tip of the iceberg and we need to step up the help we provide for children and families across the city.

That is why we need businesses of all shapes and sizes to step forward and help us out. This could be in the form of direct funding or through projects and activities that tap into their area of expertise and will benefit communities. Every bit of help will make a difference.”
